Honored Kate Gallego and the Phoenix Metro Area – Valley of the Sun Clean Cities awarded Kate Gallego, the Mayor of Phoenix and the Phoenix Metro Area a plaque recognizing Valley of the Sun as the nation’s leader of reducing vehicle emissions in all U.S. Metro Areas. Major contributions of vehicle emission reductions were realized by Valley Metro Transportation, Sky Harbor Airport, and the City of Phoenix Fleet Operations.
